Our Beliefs

  • The Bible is God’s word to man, hence it is inerrant. (Jn 1:1-2; Heb 1:1-3; Acts 1:16; Acts 3:21)
  • God is One, but exists in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Cor 13:14; Acts 5:3-4,30)
  • Jesus is the Christ, the Lord, both fully God and fully Man (Phil 2:5-11)
  • He was born of a virgin, Mary of Nazareth. (Isa 7:14; Lk 1:29-37)
  • His death on the cross is the only acceptable substitute for our sins, if we will trust in Him. (Jn 3:16,36; Heb 10:11-14)
  • He was raised bodily from the grave, and received bodily into Heaven. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor 15:20-28)
  • He is coming again:
  • First, in the clouds, to receive His Body, the ekklesia (the called-out ones, the Church), at the Rapture. (I Thes 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:9)
  • Then, at the end of the Great Tribulation, to judge and to rule the Earth for 1000 years (Rev 19:11-16, 20:2-7), followed by creation of a new heaven and earth, where we will live with God eternally. (Rev 21:1-22:5)
  • Salvation is received by accepting and trusting in the Person and finished work of Christ on the cross for our sins. (Rom 3:21-24)
  • This results in a new nature, the new birth, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor 5:17; Rom 8:9; Jas 1:18; 1 Pet 1:3)
  • Believers are to be baptized by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Acts 28:20)
  • There is a resurrection of the body for all, both believer and unbeliever. But, the believer will take his resurrection body to Heaven at the Rapture. (Jn 5:29; 1 Thes 4:13-17). The resurrected unbeliever will be sent to the Lake of Fire, to the place created for Satan and his minions.
  • To be absent from the body (physical death) is to be immediately present with the Lord, awaiting our resurrection body. (2 Cor 5:8)
  • We partake of the Lord’s Supper on a regular basis. (1 Cor 11:23-26)
  • The Church began at Pentecost and will be completed with the Rapture. (Acts 11:15)The Bible is God’s word to man, hence it is inerrant. (Jn 1:1-2; Heb 1:1-3; Acts 1:16; Acts 3:21)
